Adult education teachers are instrumental in helping students achieve their goals. This site, a component of the New Teacher Training System (NTTS), was designed to inform, prepare, and support new adult educators. Features of the NTTS are:

New Teacher Registration

Online Pre-service
This pre-service training is available to all teachers.  The purpose of the Online Pre-service is to provide critical information in a timely manner. It should be completed before a new teacher enters the classroom or within the first few weeks of hiring. The Pre-service also provides a refresher for experienced teachers and paraprofessional staff. Simply click on the link below to open.

Handbook for Teachers of Adult Education
 was
developed to provide the user with an understanding of adult education in Indiana.  This resource is for administrators, educators, and paraprofessionals.  It is a definitive reference on Indiana’s programming, knowing and working with adult learners, and understanding the challenges that face adult education providers.
